Why was Rising Voices created?
Why would someone dare create a magazine in 2026, when there are many other business ideas to choose from. It’s a quote that says, “Your voice is the spark, let it ignite the fire of change” and that led me to my decision to create Rising Voices Company.
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, so I was an inner-city kid that attended schools like Harper Archer Middle School and Frederick Douglass High School. Being from such an environment, the spotlight never found us, the world never heard our voices nor our opinions. The world never knew of our accomplishments, feats, nor journey, only the downfall of things. I hate that I not only see that in our education system but also in everyday life.
Rising Voices were created to give people voices to bring awareness, push for change, shine light on our future, while also highlighting human life and businesses. The business is named Rising Voices because we are advocating for more voices to be heard that will create a more dynamic environment that will be more equipped to be innovative, adaptive, and solve problems efficiently. We are building a tomorrow that we can all harmonize with one another.
